Located in beautiful Mountain Grove, Missouri, Rocking Z Ranch stands solid with more than five generations representing the Rocking Z brand. We are proud that every generation has added a new way of making farming more progressive. This is especially true with our parents, Dale and Connie Sauls. Both met in 4-H and grew up raising beef cattle but saw opportunity in the dairy industry. Beginning in 1976, Dale and Connie founded Condale Dairy and expanded to milking 600 cows three times a day with 400 replacement heifers. They also maintained a small beef herd and prided themselves on producing quality show cattle that consistently won, both in the show ring, and with carcass data. Through the years, their attention to detail and expectation of excellence lead to numerous awards ranging from the Dairy Farmers Quality Milk Award (20 years), the Southeast Dairy Herd Improvement Association's High Milk Production Award (16 years), and culminating with the Sunbelt Ag Expo Farmer of the Year.

Our parents passed us their work ethic and an appreciation for agriculture along with the Rocking Z brand. We look to bring our family farm one step closer to the consumer - something that has been lost through commercial beef production. We know our unique backgrounds offer insight and understanding to help us offer sustainably viable, high quality beef.

Rolly Sauls grew up an active member in 4-H, raising and showing dairy cattle, beef heifers, and steers; earning a myriad of awards in leadership, public speaking and for her championship cattle. She went on to earn a degree in Environmental Economics and Policy from the University of Florida as is a proud member of the Gator Nation. After graduation Rolly went on to work in water resources and environmental policy. She has since come back to the ranch bringing her environmental understanding and progressive management principles.

Megan Sauls also raised and showed dairy cattle, beef heifers, and steers for 10 years in 4-H; earning a multitude of awards for champion quality show cattle as well as her leadership abilities. Megan used the profits from her first show steer to begin a herd of her own and these cattle led to the beginning of Rocking Z Ranch. Megan graduated from the University of Florida with a degree in Agricultural Communications and Leadership. After working in credit analysis and commercial lending, Megan decided to take her experience and knowledge back to the ranch.

Rocking Z Ranch was founded as a sustainable family farm, providing the all natural beef that we grew up on. Our roots run deep in agriculture and we are proud to offer you superb beef, the way nature intended.
